Montessori Classroom and Montessori Curriculum

Enrollment Procedures
Families interested in enrolling their children into our montessori curriculum are encouraged to phone the school office to schedule a montessori classroom observation time. After the observation, an application form and a non-refundable application fee may be submitted. The school will contact the family to arrange to have the child interviewed. Following the personal interview, the school will send notification regarding the child's enrollment status. If the child is accepted, a nonrefundable deposit, which is applied to the tuition amount, is to be paid within two weeks. Interested families will then need to sign a tuition contract agreement, and return the first tuition deposit when it is due, in order to ensure montessori classroom placement. In accordance with the MCS tuition policy, your child will be enrolled for the entire school year and the total tuition balance due and payable to MCS as directed.

Montessori Classroom Placements
Our goal is to esablish well-balanced montessori classrooms, based on boy/girl ratios, age ratios, student/teacher ratios, and personality blending. Parents may request, but may not always receive, a particular teacher. Based on the teacher's evaluation of the students developmental level, MCS reserves the right to conditionally accept a student on a probationary basis. The teacher will monitor a student who is conditionally accepted, and regular commmuniation with the family will be important until the probationary status is removed.
